| What do Amogen Driveways do? | We restore any type of path, driveway, decking, in fact, any outdoor surface, back to its original glory. | |
| How do you do it? | We use the very latest machinery that compresses water to 250 Bar (3600psi) and uses a rotary head for maximum cleaning efficiency. | |
| Isn't that just a glorified jet washing service? | Most certainly not. Domestic pressure washing equipment which you can buy at DIY stores is designed for general purpose cleaning of cars and boats. When used on paths, driveways and decking, they do not have the power to fully penetrate the surface and produce a striping effect. Our equipment was designed to do one thing and one thing only. Clean external flat surfaces, and just like Ronseal Quick Drying Woodstain, it does exactly what it says on the tin!! | |
| How long will the restoration take? | It all depends on the size of the area and amount of dirt build up, but most will be cleaned within one day. Block paved area's will need a subsequent visit to re-sand the area once dry, but this will only take an hour or two. | |
| Do I need to be home whilst you are restoring the path or driveway? | No. So long as there is access to an outside water supply, we will arrive before you go to work in the morning and when you return the work will be completed. | |
| Will there be any disruption? | While the work is being carried out, there will be the minimum of disruption. If the job is to be continued the following day, the site will always be left clean and tidy. | |
| When cleaned, how long will the path or drive stay looking new? | This is very dependant on use, weather conditions, overhanging trees and plants, etc. It is recommended that after the first deep clean, annual visits are carried out to refresh the look of the surface. | |
| Will my plants and animals be safe during the restoration? | We take great care not to damage any plants whilst carrying out the restoration. When a weed suppressant has been applied, we advise to keep family pets off the surface until dry. | |
| Will I have to stay off the restored surface? | After cleaning, no, the surface can be used straight away. If the surface has been sealed, we recommend that there is no foot traffic for 8 hours or vehicular traffic for at least 24 hours. | |
| How will I benefit from this restoration service? | You have a lot of money invested in your property, and improving your kerb appeal, could possibly increase the value of your home, or secure that quicker sale. Also mouldy paths and driveways are very slippery. Cleaning them removes that chance of people slipping and injuring themselves. | |
| Will I be subject to high pressure sales techniques, show house "discounts" or bombarded with phone calls if I request a free quote?? | Absolutely Not!!!! If you request a free quote, or even a free demonstration, we will leave you with a professionally printed quote. If you wish to make a booking there and then, we will arrange for that. But if you wish to wait, or decide not to go ahead, then we will not pester you with letters and phone calls. | |
| How can I pay for the restoration service? | We have on our vans, a mobile "Chip and Pin" machine, enabling you to pay with Switch, Maestro, Visa or MasterCard. Of course cash would also be acceptable. | |
